the materials used for the oilers of the collection are brass, iron, wood, leather, glass, the plastic.

The brass alloy containing copper and zinc is the object of this collection of oilers and huilors

The iron/steel for the screws and the springs; (my collection does not comprise a oiler with the iron body)

wood for the handles and cork for the joints;

leather for the joints or flexible protections;

the carderboard (paper) for the joints;

copper (red) is used for certain joints or screws and bolts to obtain a sealing by crushing;

the plastic to replace the glass and synthetic joints replace the old cork joints;

glass to supervise drip or levels;

chromium and nickel in protection of surface of certain luxury oiler
